Yes, we know that the church is not the building. The
church is not brick and stone, but rather "blood and bone". However, attending
church is a very important part of your walk with Christ. We believe that you must go to a Bible believing, Jesus Christ
preaching church that preaches the whole counsel of God's Word and does not water down the
Truth. We do not hold a belief that you must go
to a specific church to go to Heaven. In fact, if there is a church that
you used to go to, we recommend that you go back to that church and remain
faithful. Do you
know someone that already faithfully attends church? You might consider going to
church with your friend or relative. Maybe you don't have a connection to
any church. If so, each member of The Jude 23 Network invites you to visit
one of the churches or all of the churches we attend! What are the "marks"
of a Biblical church? Click
here to find out.
*NOTE-There are many "false" things in the realm
of this world. The Bible plainly warns of false teachers, false apostles,
false doctrine, cults, etc. While we do list each church that our members
attend, The Jude 23 Network does not endorse any specific church, its leadership
or teachings. We ask that you be led of the Holy Spirit and be of "noble
character" as a
"Berean" Christian as you become involved with a local church, for there are
many that would lead you astray.
1 Timothy 6:3-5 - "If
any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of
our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; he
is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words,
whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, perverse disputings of
men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth,
supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw
thyself."
Why should you go to church? Here's three quick
Biblical reasons:
- Jesus established the church! Check out
Matthew 16:18.
- Jesus went to church! Check out
Luke 4:16. Notice the part about "as his custom was". It was
Jesus' custom or "habit" of going to church. Hey, if Jesus went to
church, so should we!
- People failing to "assemble" together is nothing new and
the Bible warns against not going to church to assemble together.
Check out Hebrews 10:24-25.
