Phillip Morrison
Hello! My name is Phillip Morrison and I hooked up
with the Jude 23 network on September 28, 2007 through the Great News Network.
I have a wife (Amanda) and I’m a member of Auburndale Baptist Church.
Naturally I felt inadequate and
fearful about confronting people of their sins and need for Christ. But
the promise Christ gives us is that his grace and power are sufficient for us
when we are weak (2 Cor. 12:9). God has given his people a commission
(Mark 16:15), but we must always pray for a burden and fire from God to see His
name exalted among the nations (Ps. 46:10) through the gospel. People are
saved by hearing a biblical proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and
that’s what Jude 23 and I'm all about (Romans 10:17).
I love God and people enough to leave the health, wealth & prosperity gospel to
false teachers and preach as I ought to (a dying man to dying men). As C.H.
Spurgeon said, “God never clothes men until He has first stripped them, nor
does He quicken them by the gospel till they are slain by the law”. I
hope all Christians will pray for God’s laborers as we have the honor to go
outside the comfortable church walls and bear the reproach with our Lord (Heb.
13:12-14).

Phillip's last night on the streets (for now)
was Friday, July 25, 2008. Phillip and his wife left for Wilmore, KY on
August 1, 2008 because Phillip has a basketball scholarship to Asbury College.
We are definitely going to miss Phillip, but we wish him well and look forward
to laboring with him sometime in the future.
