Hello!
My name is Danny Allen and I linked up with The Jude 23 Network on
March 25, 2006.
I heard Hell's Best Kept Secrets for the first time in
early 2005. My local Church went through some rather tough times and I was
searching for answers. Praise God for Ray Comfort and Kirk Cameron! I turned on
the TV one night and there was this little New Zealand guy introducing the guy I
grew up with Mike Severs from Growing Pains. I knew that he was in the Left
Behind movies, but I didn't think that he was a preacher! After listening to HBKS it really made sense to me. This is the way to witness to the lost. I
immediately thought I would order some of the DVD's as CD's from Living Waters
and I also joined the School of Biblical Evangelism.
After watching the HBKS and True and False conversions again,
I plunged into the SOBE. I was the Chairmen of Deacons in my church and I wanted
everyone to know about what I was learning. As I was studying each lesson in
SOBE, I made it to lesson 35 on open-air preaching. I read about repentance,
repentance and more about repentance. It was then, through the conviction of the
Holy Spirit, that I came to the realization that I never had truly repented of
my sins. I had sat in a Church pew for 35 years thinking that I was saved. I was
ordained as a deacon, even became the chairmen of deacons and if I had died I
know I would have heard those fateful words, "Depart from me for I never knew
you." I talked to my pastor and made my decision public and followed in
believers baptism. Now my heart is to seek and save the lost. Not only the lost
that are on the street , or the lost where I work, but my heart breaks for the
lost sitting in churches every Sunday thinking (as I did) that I was saved. My
prayer is that through the preaching of the Word and through the conviction of
the Holy Spirit that the blinders that Satan has so skillfully placed on false
converts (through modern evangelism methods), are removed so that their eyes are
opened and are soundly saved.
After studying the WOTM I wanted more training in how to seek
and save the lost. The WOTM is great classroom training in how to witness;
however, at EBC the rubber meets the road, so to speak. You are given a chance
to put into practice all that you have learned. From handing out tracts to
open-air preaching with a lump in your throat. Boot Camp stretched me both
spiritually and mentally as I faced my fears. As I grow as a Christian, I
realize that we may never see the fruits of our labors in this life. For all of
eternity we will have our eyes opened to see all of the brothers and sisters
affected by each and every tract handed out. This is not a 9-5 course; come
prepared to battle against the enemy himself.
I am committed to lead seed sowers in the Louisville,
Kentucky area as long as the Lord and GNN directs. If you want to help us seek
and save the lost in Louisville, please join our team. My prayer is that the
Lord grows up a mighty group of men and women in the Louisville area with only
one passion to serve our Lord and seek and save those who are lost. We can do
that by handing out tracts, preaching, and teaching the word. As it is written,
"Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God." May Jesus receive all
the glory forever and ever!
